• Reading A Peoples History of the U.S. now, but wondering how this is ok but the Texas conservative revision of history is not ok. Bias? #
• Zinn does say that the book intentionally focuses on one perspective. The Texas revision is not open about there being an alternative view. #
• I think what Zinn does with People's History is ADD to history, but what the Texas conservatives are trying to do is ERASE history. #
• It's 81 in Los Angeles right now. Hi summer!! #
• Happy St Paddy day everyone. My dilluted Irish American blood says hi. #
• Instead of celebrating a Roman/British missionary converting the Irish to the church, I'm going to mourn the Pagans today. #
• My ADD is making me read Noise and Capitalism at the same time as A People's History of the US. #
• Noise+Capitalism fits with my own worries that creating pleasant and harmonic sounds is emotional manipulation, like commercial soundtracks. #
• I'm just not interested in unemotional white noise as a form of protest. My brain evolved to translate melody into empathetic emotion. #
• I want my music and my video to be like Hello Kitty's face. Vague, you apply your own emotion to it. No manipulation, positive or negative. #
