Can anyone recommend a good used bookstore in Los Angeles? I need to start reading some JG Ballard and that stuff is way out of print. #
I'm reading Italo Calvino now, but next it has to be Ballard. They can both go on my book shelf with Borges, Vonnegut and Murakami. #

Sometimes I feel sorry for my poor little myspace page, sitting there like a discarded shell. One day I will shed you too twitter/facebook. #

We're adopting a little 12yr old chihuahua named Roger! He was scheduled to be euthanized and we couldn't let that happen! #

Recorded planes landing with the H1 today. Gorgeous. You can actually hear the sound rippling off buildings. #
The tripod mount on the H1 is super useful. Especially paired with a gorillapod. Wrap it around a branch, sit back and listen. #
Speaking of Cameras… I successfully hacked my Lumix GH1 over the weekend. The image is now smoother, more film like. Less artifacts. #
Just rewatched Inception, with headphones. Amazing sound design, love how the pitched down piaf track is a sub-bass drone near the end. #
Also, I noticed that Cobb's son tells him "we're building a house on a cliff" in the last shot. Kinda spooky, another clue? #
I want a sequel to Inception following Cobb through Limbo as he searches for Saito. No dialogue, just landscape and crumbling buildings. #
Is there such a thing as a film about a space, just quietly exploring a landscape or building? Would a 3D virtual space be more appropriate? #
