serac is a netlabel/soundart blog representing compositions that aim to break format and formula. our goal is to host new recordings and projects and discuss the possibilities of sound, hopefully to move beyond the limited 2D panoramic scope of current musical formats. a record/tape/cd move only in one direction. we communicate emotion through sound yes, but before emotion sound was for locating objects (food, danger) in space. for understanding the shape and size of your surroundings. we have a lot of work to do people, resist simulation. move forwarddddd. use your ears.
